Waiter

Will provide smooth and efficient service. At the same time will remain alert to the guests’ needs and wishes and is always prepared to ensure guests’ complete satisfaction

Requirements:

• at least 2 years of professional experience as waiter
• ability to effectively communicate in English and/or German
• demonstrates attentiveness, a positive attitude and unfailing politeness
• operates well in a fast-paced environment and remains friendly in all situations
• punctual

Responsibilities:

• greets passengers upon arrival
• provides guests with a prompt and attentive service
• knowledgeable about the wine/bar lists and types of wine and drinks
• confidently explains the menus and recommends selections to the guests
• communicates effectively with the rest of the team and the kitchen
• follows instructions from the Barkeeper, Head Waiter and Maître D‘Hôtel
• clears tables and bar counters correctly and efficiently at all times
• attends all meetings regarding the job and the ship life
• operates well in a fast-paced environment and remains friendly in all situations
• always respects the company serving schedule and standards
• follows the sanitation regulations and the instructions of the management
• attends the loading of food, beverage, laundry and other items
