Executive Housekeeper
Committed to keeping and maintaining the hotel hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- at least 3 years of experience in the housekeeping department (Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeper) on river ships, or 4 & 5 start hotel (cruise experience will have an advantage)
- has the ability to train the new team members as well as to control and correct them when needed
- demonstrates good communications skills, professionalism, leadership and integrity
- demonstrates a good eye for details and organizational flair
- has a good sense of cleanliness
- good command of English and or German
Responsibilities:
- provides support and guidance to their team (coordinates housekeeping and laundry operations)
- ensures that cabins and all public areas are kept impeccably clean at all times
- ensures that any damages are reported and that the repairs are carried out promptly
- in-charge with designing their department schedule and making sure that the cleaning activities of cabins, hallways, restrooms, corridors, reception, handrail, glass windows, lusters and decoration flowers are equally/correctly assigned to different housekeeping team members
- inspects assigned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness are met
- check and order supplies (linens, towels, chemicals)
- follow sanitation regulations and instructions of the management
- attends the loading of food, beverage, laundry and other items
