Bartender

Assisting the Barkeeper in creating unforgettable experience for the guests while delighting them with a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Requirements:

• at least 2 years of experience as bartender
• ability to effectively communicate in English and/or German
• demonstrates attentiveness, a positive attitude and unfailing politeness
• operates well in a fast-paced environment and remain friendly in all situations
• punctual

Responsibilities:

• greets guests upon arrival
• provides guests with  prompt and attentive service
• ability to recommend, prepare, serve and refill drinks and correctly charging drinks to accounts via onboard system
• knowledgeable about the drinks lists
• confidently explain the cocktail recipe and make recommendations
• clear guest bar counters correctly and efficiently at all times
• communicates effectively with the rest of the team
• follows the service instructions from the Barkeeper, Head Waiter and Maître D‘Hôtel
• operates well in a fast-paced environment and remains friendly in all situations
• always respects the company serving schedule and standards
• attends all meetings regarding the job and the ship life
• follows the sanitation regulations and the instructions of the management
• attends the loading of food, beverage, laundry and other items
