  • baker degree with 4 years of experience in similar positions (Baker, Bakery Clerk, Bread Associate, Bäcker) in restaurants, hotels or on cruise ships
  • very good knowledge of ISO quality systems and H.A.C.C.P. procedures
  • ability to communicate efficiently with the Executive Chef and the rest of the galley team in English or German
  • good communication and presentation skills are mandatory as they will interact with guests during cooking demonstrations for guests
  • good knowledge of cost control and quality awareness
  • self-motivation, reliability and creativity
  • hard working and a team player


  • prepare bread, rolls, Danish, muffins, and biscuits for guests and crew members
  • helps avoid wastage
  • lead bakery demonstrations for guests as per daily program
  • carefully handle relevant equipment and machinery in the galley
  • attends the loading of food, beverage, laundry and other items
